Liz & Adam - Lyrebird Falls Wedding

Liz and Adam got married on Friday at Lyrebird Falls in Kallista. Both bride and groom began their day with nervous anticipation, but once they spotted each other as Liz walked down the aisle, they were smiling from ear to ear. While we didn’t get any sunshine trickling through the trees for photos, we had the always beautiful backdrop of the Conservation Reserve…and a fun bridal party to ensure there was never a dull moment.
Adam and Liz told me that most of their nerves were to do with their first dance. They had been having lessons and decided on a quite technical routine with two lifts. They absolutely nailed it!

Lesley & Gregg - Burnham Beeches Piggery Cafe Wedding

These two and this location were a match made in heaven and I’m so excited to share this little preview.
Lesley and Gregg are beautiful people inside and out. It was obvious that their kindness has reached many in their community by the amount of people that turned up to watch the ceremony. It was just lovely.
Lesley hand-made many of the decorations for the reception and Lesley and Gregg hand wrote cards to each of their guests to thank them individually for the way in which they had supported them or been an important person in their lives.
The guests enjoyed a decadent dessert table, drinks and dancing until the end of the night.
Thank you for having me there to photograph your amazing day!

Alyssa & Eric - Flowerdale Estate Wedding

Alyssa and Eric – I’m not sure you could find a couple more in love than these two. Eric admitted that marriage was far from his mind when he first moved in with Alyssa, but he quickly realised that he never wanted to be without her and therefore it was the obvious next step.
Their beautiful wedding was held at Flowerdale Estate in Strath Creek on Saturday surrounded by their closest friends and family.
As they had hired out the entire property, and many of their friends and family were staying on site, it felt like you were at a family home.
The day seemed so easy for these two, natural and effortless.
As I left the party it was only just beginning and I am sure it continued to be a fabulous night.

Laura & Shane - Forest Edge Wedding

Laura and Shane married on Saturday at Forest Edge Restaurant surrounded by friends and family. Many of them travelling from overseas and interstate for the special occasion.
They selected one very special friend each to have by their side on the day, and included family in their ceremony to make it extra special. Laura was escorted down the aisle by her twin brothers, and it was clear that they adore their big sister.
It was a wonderful party from beginning to end with the dancing starting even before the entrees were finished being served! The dance floor was only evacuated to listen to speeches, otherwise it was occupied all night long.
Shane and Laura opted for a sparkler exit and spent a couple of days with their international guests before they head off on their honeymoon tomorrow. Have a great time!

Lucia & Nick - Macedon Ranges Wedding

Lucia and Nick married on Saturday at Lucia’s most favourite place in the world – the property were she grew up, and her parents still reside, in Gisborne.
They wanted nothing more than to get married and have a brilliant party with their friends and family. I overheard Lucia say that she kept seeing all of her favourite people and it was like the best party ever, just for her…and then she remembered that’s exactly what it was – and for Nick as well, of course!
Their ceremony was sweet and simple and Lucia walked down the aisle to the beautiful voices of her sisters. The guests gasped when they began to sing and I don’t think there was a dry eye there!
The reception delivered some hilarious speeches and I imagine many woke with sore cheeks this morning from all of the laughing. It was a truly happy occasion.
Wishing you both all the very best, thank you for having me there!

Katie & Jack - Brunswick Food Store Wedding

Jack and Katie met at Uni. A Melbourne boy and a girl all the way from Drouin.
During their ceremony it was mentioned several times that they wanted to bring people together with their marriage, welcome family and friends into their home and be surrounded by the people they love. It was obvious that they already do this by the fact that they had filled St Hilary’s Church, had many people standing at the back AND had several others in an adjoining room watching on a screen. There was a lot of love for these two.
They enjoyed their first meal together as husband and wife with their guests at The Brunswick Foodstore. An amazing venue with a laid back feel.
Katie and Jack – wishing you both all the best for the future. I hope you have a great week away.

Rochene & Ant - Spirit Station Pier Wedding

On a Friday, these two lovely people got married!
With many travelling from interstate and overseas it made sense to have a Friday wedding so everyone could enjoy a long weekend together.
Antony started the day a little unconventionally by getting a tattoo on his ring finger! With the support of his best man, he was very brave 😉 They met up with Ant’s brothers for a beer before the event.
Rochene enjoyed the company of her bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law at an apartment in the city before heading to the rooftop for champagne.
The ceremony and reception were held at Spirit Station Pier in Port Melbourne. It was a stunning day, albeit a little windy but Ro’s dress made the most of it by dancing beautifully to the wind during the ceremony.
The couple enjoyed the night by sharing food and laughs with those they love most and they were just happy to have them all together.
It was wonderful wedding and I am so pleased to have been a small part of it.

Kate & Chris - Wilson Botanic Park, Berwick Wedding

We were so lucky! Just an hour before the ceremony the wind was crazy and it looked like it might rain but by the time Kate arrived at Wilson Botanical Gardens it was calm and perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony.
Chris was overwhelmed when he saw his bride. It was an emotional and heartfelt ceremony, you could feel the love and tell that these two had already been through quite a lot together. Their children Logan and Grace were there and watched on with the rest of their extended family.
The couple and their guests enjoyed a cocktail style reception at Beaconsfield Football Club that featured a beautiful cake and accompanying dessert table.
The evening progressed with speeches, more tears and many more laughs!
It was a great day to capture, thank you for having me along for the ride Kate and Chris!

Foa & Daniel - Settlers Run Wedding

A day filled with love, laughter and incredible dancing!
Foa and Daniel’s wedding was one of mixed cultures, and to witness both families participate and enjoy the Samoan festivities was a pure joy.
Foa got ready surrounded by her sisters, aunties, cousins and parents in the couples beautiful new home. It was a very happy and relaxed morning.
Daniel was with his parents at their house with his friends. Foa said that he is the nervous, thoughtful one and he was…but also very happy and excited to marry Foa.
Foa’s Dad delivered her to Daniel in such a beautiful, heartfelt way – giving her away but not without letting her know how truly special she is to him first.
The reception was a bustle of activity, many family members performing dances and singing for the couple and their guests. It was amazing to capture.
Thank you for having me along for the ride!

Renee & Nic - Yarra Ranges Estate Wedding

Who said opposites attract? When asked what their friends and family would say about them as a couple, they replied “That [they] are exactly the same.”
Nic and Renee share a cheeky sense of humour, the ability to laugh at themselves and a passion for their beloved Collingwood Football Club. Two little magpies even adorned their wedding cake!
Renee and Nic chose to marry at Yarra Ranges Estate in Monbulk after sharing a wonderful meal there one evening with their parents. It proved to be the perfect backdrop for a beautiful wedding.
There were plenty of tears, laughs and squeals of happiness from those that surrounded the pair. It was a pleasure to be a part of such a special day.
Wishing you both all the best.

Chelsey & Dan - Abbotsford Convent Wedding

Oh my, what a wedding!
So they say rain on a wedding day means good luck and longevity for the couple, and rain it absolutely did! I’m certain Chelsey and Daniel are destined for a lifetime of happiness.
I witnessed some of the most beautiful, heartfelt and hilarious vows I have ever heard. The speeches delivered by parents, siblings and friends were more of the same, resulting in tears, roars of laughter and high fives.
Held at the stunning Abbotsford Convent, a venue possibly even more impressive in the rain, was the perfect setting. Dan looked the part in a classic, navy suit and Chelsey stealing the show (and rightfully so) in a gorgeous, vintage, tea length gown.
To two of the most kind and encouraging people I have ever met – Thank You for having me along for the ride and allowing me to photograph one of the most special days of your lives. With so many people to choose from I feel very honoured.
Wishing you the most amazing life together.
